This Privacy Policy explains how Green Bubble Tech (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) handles your information when you use our website and mobile application. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.
Information We Access
The App accesses only the data required to provide its core features:
Photos and videos stored on your device
Text messages (SMS/MMS) — used only to create encrypted backups and to restore your messages when requested
Contacts, used only to correctly associate messages during backup/restore
Files created by the App for encrypted backup
Network access to connect with your selected cloud storage provider
Your email address for authentication and account identification
We use Firebase Authentication solely to create and manage your account. No photos, videos, messages, contacts, or backup data are ever sent to Firebase.
We do not collect or store your personal content (photos, videos, messages, contacts, or backups) on our servers.
We may collect limited technical information such as:
Device model and OS version
App performance data
Crash logs
This information helps us maintain and improve the App.
How Your Data Is Used
Your photos, videos, messages, contacts, and backup files are used solely to:
Display your gallery
Create encrypted backups
Restore your content when requested
Upload encrypted data to your chosen cloud storage provider
We do not analyze, sell, rent, or share your personal content.
Your email address is used only for authentication and account identification. It is not sold, shared, or used for marketing.
Local Processing and Encryption
All sensitive data is processed on your device.
All backups are encrypted on your device before they leave it.
Only you hold the encryption keys. We cannot access your encrypted data.
All data transmitted to your selected cloud provider is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.
Cloud Storage Access (Required Disclosure)
When you choose to back up your data, the App connects to the cloud storage provider you select (e.g., Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox). The App:
Creates and accesses only the files and folders it creates
Uploads encrypted backup files to your chosen cloud provider
Does not access, read, modify, or view any other files in your cloud account
Does not scan, analyze, or index your cloud contents
Does not request broad access beyond what is required for encrypted backup functionality
If you connect a Google account, the App uses the Google Drive API with the drive.file scope, which restricts access to App‑created files only.
OAuth Consent and Permissions
The App uses Firebase Authentication to verify your identity and manage your login. Firebase receives only your email address and authentication credentials. It does not receive or process any of your media files, messages, contacts, or backups.
When you connect a cloud provider account, you will see an OAuth consent screen describing the permissions requested. These permissions are used only to:
Authenticate your account
Create encrypted backups in your selected cloud storage provider
The App does not use your account data for any other purpose.
Third‑Party Cloud Providers
When you back up data, it is transmitted directly to the cloud service you select. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.
We do not control or access your cloud‑stored content.
Data Access and Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties.
The only data transmitted off your device is:
Encrypted backup files (sent to your chosen cloud provider)
Crash logs and performance data (used to improve stability)
No personal content is shared, sold, or used for advertising.
Firebase Authentication is used only for account login and does not have access to your personal content.
Data Retention and Deletion
You may delete your backups at any time from within the App or directly from your cloud storage provider.
You may revoke the App’s access to your connected cloud account at any time through that provider’s account settings (e.g., Google: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
We do not retain your personal content on our servers.
Crash logs and performance data may be retained for diagnostic purposes.
You may request account deletion or data removal through our Account Deletion Request form.
Permissions
The App requests only the permissions necessary to function.
Each permission is explained clearly before use, including:
SMS/MMS — used only to create encrypted backups of your messages and to restore them when requested
Contacts — used only to match messages to the correct sender/recipient
Photos/Videos — used only to display your gallery and create encrypted backups
Network — used only to upload encrypted backups to your selected cloud provider
This data is processed locally and never shared with third parties.
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
Continued use of the App indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
