Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data (we do not sell or share data)

What Personal Data We Process

We process only the information required to provide the App’s core functionality:

  • Photos and videos you choose to view or back up

  • Text messages (SMS/MMS) you choose to back up

  • Contacts, used only to correctly associate messages during backup/restore

  • Files created by the App for encrypted backup

  • Your email address for authentication and account identification

  • Technical data needed for app performance (device model, OS version, crash logs)

  • Permissions you grant within the App

We do not store, analyze, or access your personal content on our servers.
All sensitive data is processed locally on your device.
All backups are encrypted locally and uploaded directly to your chosen cloud provider.

Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

We process data based on:

  • Your consent (e.g., enabling backups, connecting a cloud provider, granting permissions)

  • Legitimate interests (e.g., app performance, security, crash diagnostics)

We do not use your data for profiling, marketing, or automated decision‑making.

Data Storage & Transfer

  • We do not store your personal content on our servers.

  • Encrypted backups are transmitted directly from your device to your selected cloud provider.

  • Cloud providers may store data in various regions according to their own policies.

  • We cannot decrypt or restore your content.

  • The App only accesses the files and folders it creates in your cloud account and does not access or scan any other files.

Revoking Access & Deleting Data

You have full control over your data:

  • You may delete your backups at any time from within the App or directly from your cloud provider.

  • You may revoke the App’s access to your cloud account through your provider’s account settings.

  • The App does not retain copies of your content once deleted.

  • You may request account deletion or data removal through our Account Deletion Request form.

No Selling or Sharing of Personal Data (CCPA)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.
We do not use your data for advertising or analytics beyond basic crash diagnostics.

Security Measures

  • Local encryption before upload

  • Encrypted transmission (HTTPS/TLS)

  • No server‑side storage of your content

  • Limited access to only the files and folders created by the App

  • No access to other files in your cloud account
