How We Handle Your Data

The App only accesses the information required to provide backup and restore functionality. Your data remains on your device unless you choose to back it up.

When you initiate a backup:

  • The App encrypts your photos, videos, and messages locally on your device.

  • The encrypted backup file is uploaded directly to the cloud provider you select (such as Google Drive).

  • No unencrypted data ever leaves your device.

  • We never store, access, or transmit your personal content through our servers.

The App does not scan, analyze, or access any other files on your device or in your cloud storage.

Encryption Details

  • All backups are encrypted using industry‑standard encryption algorithms.

  • Encryption occurs before any data is transmitted.

  • Only you hold the keys required to decrypt your data.

  • We cannot access, read, restore, or decrypt your content under any circumstances.

This ensures that your backups remain private and under your control at all times.

Cloud Storage Access

When using Google Drive or another cloud provider:

  • The App only accesses the files and folders it creates.

  • The App does not access, read, modify, or view any other files in your cloud account.

  • The App does not scan or analyze your cloud storage.

This limited access is required solely to store your encrypted backups.

Data Transmission

  • All data is transmitted using secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

  • Encrypted backups are sent directly from your device to your chosen cloud provider.

  • We do not intercept, store, or route your data through our servers.

Data Deletion

You have full control over your data:

  • You may delete your backups at any time from within the App or directly from your cloud provider.

  • The App does not retain copies of your content.

  • If you revoke the App’s cloud permissions, it will no longer be able to access or upload backup files.

Your Responsibilities

To maintain the security of your data:

  • Keep your device secure and up to date.

  • Maintain access to your cloud account.

  • Manage your encryption keys (if applicable), as we cannot recover or regenerate them.
